Folk Music Ontario has announced the nominees for the 2024 Ontario Folk Music Awards.
The annual award ceremony will take place as the final event of the Folk Music Ontario Conference at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga on Sunday, Oct 6.
It will feature performances by a yet-to-be-announced line-up of nominated artists and special guests.
Launched 30 years ago as the Songs from the Heart competition, the awards rebranded as the OFMAs in 2022, and FMO began handing them out at a stand-alone ceremony to cap off its annual conference.
The Estelle Klein Awards, the Colleen Peterson Songwriting Award and the Taylor Mitchell Bursary are handed out at the same event.
Contratulations to all the nominees!
