The Canadian Folk Music Awards are currently underway in St. John’s, NL, and the first round of awards was handed out last night. The second round of winners will be announced tonight.

Richard Barry is there on behalf of Roots Music Canada, and he’ll bring us a full report later this week, but for now, here are the winners from last night.
