Here are this year’s ECMA nominees in the roots, world and Indigenous categories

The East Coast Music Association (ECMA) announced the 2023 East Coast Music Award nominees on Tuesday. The East Pointers tied with Classified for the most nominations with six each. David Myles, Madison Violet, Andrew Waite, and Lisa Leblanc each have four.
The ECMA celebrates the 35th anniversary of the festival this year when it unfolds May 3-7 in Halifax.
