ICYMI: here are your 2021 ECMA winners in the roots, Indigenous and world categories

Heather was away on holidays in mid-June, which just happened to be when two significant awards shows happened.  We brought you the winners of the Summer Solstice Indigenous Awards on Saturday.  The other big event that unfolded mid-month was the East Coast Music Awards.

If you missed hearing who picked up the trophies in the roots, world and Indigenous categories, here’s a list with videos of the winners.  We’ve also included the winners of Songwriter and Solo Artist of the Year here since they went to members of the Canadian roots community.

Congratulations to all!
