OK, let’s have our own Junos. Vote now for your favourites!

How would you like to experience what it’s like to be a Juno judge?

Now that the Juno Awards ceremony that was supposed to take place tonight has been cancelled – along with any number of other activities we might normally take part in for entertainment – we here at Roots Music Canada have decided to hold our own Juno competition.

We call it the Roots Music Canada Juno Challenge.

There are no trophies, no prizes – not even any real bragging rights. But this IS an opportunity to discover some great music and build community by talking about the experience.

Will you join in?

Please pick one or more of the below Juno categories, listen to the recordings on your favourite streaming service (Lyndon John X’s album isn’t there but it’s on his web site), and vote below for the one YOU think should win the Juno … and then tell us why you chose that project.

We will announce our winners once the official Juno winners have been announced. But we won’t announce them until at least next Saturday no matter what. OK. Challenge on! Begin!
