SuperFolk happens tomorrow and Sunday in Morin Heights, QC

SuperFolk Morin-Heights was created by Ian Kelly in 2017 to celebrate Morin-Heights’ community spirit and musical heritage.

The festival site is located at the foot of a mountain, next to the site of the  legendary Commons Hotel, which entertained locals and visitors alike from the 1960s to the 1990s.  Several renowned recording studios have thrived in the town over the years and have helped make rock, classical and folk musical history in Quebec.

The festival is free, bilingual, and family-oriented, and it focuses primarily on valuing local artists and traders, while being anchored in the community of Morin-Heights.  Different activities will be offered to both young and old. In order to maintain an element of surprise, the line up of artists will not be unveiled in advance.

The festival is easily accessible by foot or by bicycle.  Festival-goers can use the footbridge that leads to the Aerobic Corridor via Route 364. Motorists will be able to use public parking facilities in the area, such as those at the town library, Lummis Park, or City Hall or on Village Road or at Les Sommet Morin-Heights.

SuperFolk Morin-Heights thanks all of its partners, including the official presenter, SiriusXM, an audio entertainment company.
