Sue Foley is playing the Salmon Arm Roots and Blues Fest this weekend

Sue Foley won the Maple Blues Awards for Guitarist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year.

Sue Foley is a musician who is motivated and inspired through hanging out and interacting with people. This makes her excited to be heading to the Salmon Arm Roots & Blues Festival for a second time. According to Sue, the organizers of the festival do a fantastic job – and when looking at the lineup of artists and performers, she sees many people with whom she is looking forward to reconnecting and hanging out.

Sue will be promoting her newest album, Ice Queen, which marks her return as a solo artist and highlights her talent as a blues guitarist.

When Sue is not playing festivals, she is hanging out with friends, playing the blues just for the fun of it. Her dream vacation would be to spend time in the south of France but a trip to Salmon Arm to perform for all the blues fans and enjoy the beauty of the Shuswap ranks pretty high up the list, she said.

Don’t miss Sue and her band at the Salmon Arm Roots & Blues Festival August 15-18. Hope to see you there!
