Leonard Poole’s Folk Alliance conference photo album – and Paul Corby’s video slide show


It’s been one month since the Folk Alliance International conference wrapped up in Montreal – the first time the conference had been held in Canada since 2013.  Roots Music Canada was there in force and so were many other people from the Canadian music scene who wouldn’t normally be able to afford to attend the conference in the United States.  Now that we’ve all had some time to digest the experience, we’ll be bringing you a few more recaps of the event, starting with this one.  Roots Music Canada photographer Leonard Poole documented the experience with his camera.  And Roots Music Canada writer Paul Corby assembled those photos into the video you see below, featuring the song “Born Free” by Dione Taylor
