It’s no secret to anyone who reads this fine web site on a regular basis, that I became a big fan of the Janzen Boys this year after seeing them play live at the Trout Forest Music Festival.
This father-and-two-sons trio combines catchy tunes and killer harmonies with some fantastic on-stage energy. Most teens wouldn’t be caught dead on stage with their dad, but John Janzen is obviously doing something right because he and his kids have a heck of a rapport up there, and their performances radiate good times.
So naturally, when these two new holiday numbers from the boys showed up in the Moose’s mailbox at the 11th hour, I just had to share them with you.
This one is a cover of the Be Good Tanyas’ “Rudy.”
And this one is “Merry Little Christmas”
Thanks, Janzens!
