Here are your Canadian Folk Music Award winners for Nov. 30

Night one of the Canadian Folk Music Awards wrapped up minutes ago in Calgary.  Alberta roots artist Levi Cuss was there for Roots Music Canada and will be bringing us more from the ceremony tomorrow, but for now, here’s who took home awards tonight.

Ensemble of the Year – The LYNNeS

Francophone Songwriter of the Year – Anik Bérubé, Natalie Byrns (of Ancolie)

Children’s Album of the Year – Grand tintamarre ! – Chansons et comptines acadiennes

Young Performer of the Year – Earle and Coffin

Producer of the Year – Steve Dawson  (for Same as I Ever Have Been by Matt Patershuk)

Instrumental Group of the Year – The Fretless

Contemporary Singer of the Year – Rob Lutes

World Solo Artist of the Year – Eliana Cuevas

World Group of the Year – Autorickshaw
