David Newland, live at Hugh’s Room

Thursday evening at Hugh’s Room in Toronto, I had the honour of introducing my Roots Music Canada partner, singer-songwriter David Newland to hundreds of his fans.

That included those gathered at the famous venue, as well as folks watching live on-line at this very site. Thanks to all who joined us.

Watch for more live-streamed events from Hugh’s Room and elsewhere in the future!

I watched the last half of the show from my kitchen in Guelph. I’m beaming. And I found myself applauding and whooping after each song. Proud of you David. Bravo! xoxoKatherine

Thanks for making this happen on the web. I really wanted to go to the show in person, but work got in the way. Getting to watch the last 45 minutes of it on the web was great. Good show David!
I look forward to hearing the cd.

WOW! I can only repeat what a friend of mine said last night in a slightly different context: I HAVE A C.D.!
I have one problem with the C.D. . I think I will have to register it with
the police as a dangerous weapon.
This morning I almost ran a Red Light, then a little later nearly missed
making a left turn. The production is so rich, it entirely claims my mind.
