The Woodshed Sessions are a video webcast made for the loyal roots music audience online. They’re filmed in the ‘Shed, a unique studio space we built ourselves.

Hosted by Editor-in-Chief David Newland, and produced by Executive Producer Andy Frank, the show combines intimate interviews and exclusive performances, featuring artists from Canada’s dynamic roots music scene.

Follow Roots Music Canada’s Twitter feed and Facebook Fan Page for updates on future shows.

Meanwhile, this video documents the building of the ‘Shed where the sessions are filmed.

So glad the Woodshed Sessions are coming back — you know I could give you guys a list of folk you should have in the ‘Shed as long as your arm! (Er, start with Treasa Levasseur, Scarlett Jane, Shakura S’Aida, Justin Rutledge, Matt Andersen, Sue Foley & Peter Karp….)

Seriously, the Woodshed is SO important. Thanks for it — bring it back as soon as you possibly can!
