The Woodshed Sessions, Episode 10 – Ben Sures
It’s been seventeen years since Edmonton’s Ben Sures released his first CD, and he’s on the verge of delivering still another bouncing cellophane baby. Winnipeg-raised Sures is a relentless, creative performer and celebrated songwriter with several prestigious international awards to his name, and very possibly more to come soon.

With his latest finalist-nod for an International Songwriting Award in the Americana category, Ben Sures is in good Canadian company, including Kim Beggs, Scott Nolan and Kirsten Jones. Ben’s shortlisted song is Rambling Bones . Details on Ben Sures’ 2005 John Lennon Songwriting Award are here.

Meet Ben Sures, in conversation with our Editor-in-Chief David Newland.

I enjoy these little interviews. It’s becoming my lunchtime ritual to check in and see who is in the shed!
