Elvis Bossa Nova CD Release

Elvis Bossa Nova are a five-man outfit based in Toronto. They released their critically-acclaimed debut CD “Hi, I’m Elvis Bossa Nova” to a packed Lula Lounge on Elvis Presley’s 75th birthday, January 8, 2010. Corin Raymond and The Sundowners opened the show. Roots Music Canada commissioned none other than the King himself to learn more about the band.

Meanwhile, Brad Wheeler of The Globe and Mail newspaper writes “Presley hasn’t been this fresh since he romanced the 14-year-old Priscilla Beaulieu in 1959.”, and gives the CD a 4-star rating.
